We found one of the rarest EV swaps at SEMA: a fully electric 1965 Iso Rivolta rebuilt by Current LA. Originally powered by Corvette running gear, this Italian GT is now running a Tesla large drive unit, a 65 kWh pack, and makes close to 600 hp all while keeping its original suspension, gauges, body lines, and period-correct Ferrari wheels.

The team walk us through the two-year restoration: stripping the car to bare metal, replacing a dangerously rusted rear clip, sourcing impossible Iso parts, splitting the battery system for near-perfect 50/50 balance, and modernising the interior while keeping its Italian charm and smell!
