SS Morro Castle: The Fire That Changed Ships Forever

On the night of September 7th, 1934, a fire broke out on the Ward Line's luxury ocean liner the SS Morro Castle. The cause of the fire remains a mystery to this day, though many suspect arson. Over the next several hours passengers and crew were forced to fight for their lives as the ship burned around them, changing ocean travel forever.
