The First Hibiki: Suntory's first-ever Hibiki Whisky REVIEW

A special Kanpai Planet Japanese Whisky event, as I review the first ever Hibiki Whisky from Suntory, from back in 1989. It's a whisky review like no other as we dive deep into the origins of the Hibiki brand.

Suntory released the first Hibiki Whisky on 3 April 1989. How does it stack up after over 30 years? We apply our stringent Kanpai Planet taste test standards, and then put it head-to-head with Hibiki Japanese Harmony - the standard No-Age statement Hibiki. How is it, and which Hibiki wins?
