Wingo Ghost Town or Bust!

We make 2 attempts to hike to the Ghost Town of Wingo, CA from the Larsen Family Winery in Sonoma, California. It is an epic hike to the Wildlife Marsh areas along Sonoma Creek. We try two times and fail... but the drone footage is epic. Wingo is the only public Ghost Town in the San Francsico Bay. The other is Drawbridge but is not accessible to the public. We also provide information on Wingo duck hunting and fishing, the prismoidal railroad, and travel to Sonoma in the late 1800's and early 1900's. We also discuss the musicians Norton Buffalo and Roy Rogers' relationship with the town and the music video they did in Wingo in 1978. Apparently it is nearly impossible for tourists to visit the town today, for reasons discussed in the video, but it still is possible if the hiker is willing to slog through 1'-2' of water for 1.5 miles!
