Identifying and reporting contacts around your boat is critical to keep everyone safe.

Описание к видео Identifying and reporting contacts around your boat is critical to keep everyone safe.

Learning to report other boats operating around you is vitally important. These boats represent a possible risk of collision. Shawn explains common names for different parts of your boat that lookouts should use to report boats operating around you. The term "accident chain" refers to a series of events that are linked together like a chain. If any one of the links is broken, the accident will not happen. Teaching your family how to report a contact/boat to the operator will break that accident chain every time. Have fun learning and using these terms.

Our mission here at Boat Training Online is to “safely help you make memories that will last a lifetime”.
