Carine Carmy is the founder of Origin, a women's health company that provides physical therapy for overlooked health issues. In our conversation, Carine discusses gender bias in medicine and explains how it has led to systemic issues in the healthcare system. Until the 1990s, women were not required to be included in clinical trials and as a result, this has impacted our understanding of how certain diseases or illnesses present themselves in women.
