Input lag fixed? Powerline filter + UPS + Medical grade isolation transformer test: Apex legends.

Описание к видео Input lag fixed? Powerline filter + UPS + Medical grade isolation transformer test: Apex legends.

It's not a strict before and after. I'm using the same monitor and peripherals, but upgraded my PC because it finally felt like I had a setup that could protect my PC from dirty power (this setup immediately fixed the '240Hz+ monitor looking like 50Hz issue' and cleaned up inputs on my old PC). My new PC is 5 months old at this point, and still going strong. The monitor is smooth and movement in-game is smooth.

I haven't played much apex over the last couple years, so what little aim and movement I had is gone, but I hope you can appreciate the difference in smoothness between the old clips and the new ones.

There is still some residual input lag when playing online (not offline though, that's completely fixed). I believe this is due to my modem + router setup. I don't have that stuff connected to a double conversion UPS, only a standard isolation transformer (not a medical grade one), but I could do a test with an extension cord that reaches the modem + router to see if it's 100% fixed online and offline.

To be clear about my filter setup: Power-line filter /surge protector with differential-mode filtering capabilities (https://www.tortech.com.au/product/ac...) + Double conversion UPS (https://powershield.com.au/product/po...) + Medical-grade Isolation Transformer (https://www.tortech.com.au/product/is...)

The order I have the devices plugged in is: 1. Wall outlet. 2. Powerline filter. 3. Double conversion UPS. 4. Medical isolation transformer. 5. PC + monitor

I'm not suggesting you buy this specific equipment, but look at the specs and filtering capabilities and try to match it if you think this setup could help you.
