Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu noted that the festival, held for the first time in eight years, honours four distinguished Lagosians, including former governors and the late mother of President Tinubu, adding that the week-long celebration highlights Lagos’ rich heritage and its potential to boost tourism and unity.
