Samlaren | Designer's Vision | Fjällräven

Описание к видео Samlaren | Designer's Vision | Fjällräven

In 1964 our founder Åke Nordin stowed away a roll of fabric that didn’t make the cut during the development of his groundbreaking Thermo Tent. A few years later, the very same roll of fabric was used to make the first legendary Greenland Jacket. Not letting resources go to waste has been in our DNA ever since. With our project “Samlaren” – which means “Gatherer” in Swedish – we honour Åke and our heritage. All products bearing the Samlaren badge are created using leftover fabrics from our mills and factories, carefully combined, resulting in limited collections with unique designs, while offering the same high levels of functionality, durability and reliability that can be expected from any Fjällräven product.

About Fjällräven
The Arctic fox is an inquisitive little predator with impressive survival skills that fascinated our founder, Åke Nordin, so much that he named his outdoor company with its Swedish name - Fjällräven. Since 1960, we have created functional, durable and timeless equipment that aim to make any outdoor experience great and nature accessible to all.
