Fair and honest look at the 2024 Presidential election. I am not taking sides or parties here, just talking about general observations from the election.

It is impossible to agree with any human 100 percent of the time. Most people, present company included, have a hard time agreeing with themselves all the time. Yet, it doesn't take much time to realize that we are all operating with various degrees of hypocrisy and cognitive dissidence. In order to really make progress in these debates, we need to start first and foremost with our own positions and hold them up to brutal scrutiny.

As we evaluate politics and the common ground we might find, it is important to also note that we may come to a same conclusion but use vastly different methods to do so. While this may not at all seem relevant, it is actually rather important to fully express why we hold said views. In doing so we may see sides that we have never thought before, and therefore need to adjust or modify our thoughts and motivations for drawing deductions. Still, no matter, as always the case with us, we will seek the ground of respect, no matter how much we may disagree.
