Five days before the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released Commemorative Postage Stamps on Ram Janmbhoomi Temple and a worldwide stamp book featuring Lord Ram on Thursday. The design components include the Ram Temple, Choupai 'Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari,' Sun, Saryu River, and Sculptures in and around the Temple. The stamps encompass six themes: Ram Temple, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj, and Ma Shabri. Gold leaf of sun rays and Chaupai contribute to the majestic icon of this miniature sheet. The design reflects the five physical elements—sky, air, fire, earth, and water, known as 'Panchabhutas,’ establishing the perfect harmony of Panchamahabhutas essential for all manifestations. Government sources noted that the stamp book is an effort to showcase the international appeal of Shri Ram in various societies. This 48-page book features stamps from over 20 countries, including the US, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia, and organizations like the UN.
