Hello everyone,

My name is Steve. Thank you for viewing this video and joining me on this walk. Please don't forget to leave a like and subscribe to this channel :)

I apologize in advance, as this route took quite a while, I cut out the most boring parts, parts where nothing really interesting was to see, to keep the video within the time constraint of 30 minutes.

This route will start from where we ended the last video, in fact, it's recorded the same day. So we start off at the South Quay Park going North into the inner city We pass the monument of Peter the Grote and the memorial stone of John Willems.

After that, we enter the St. Andries neighborhood, with it's interesting streets and squares and most known for its cathedral/church, the St. Andries Chruch. After than we visit the Kloosterstraat, a street filled with venues and shops of all kinds, going towards St. Jansvliet Sqr.

Because it's a Sunday when this video was recorded, the Antique Market was open on St. Jansvliet Sqr. If you like to browse for antiques and paintings and such, do visit this market when you're in Antwerp. It's quite a vibe there. Interesting to know, and something that I explained in the last video, is that originally the Antwerp Watergate (Antwerpse Waterpoort) was located here.

To end the video, I'll show the entrance to the St. Anna pedestrian tunnel. This tunnel goes to the other side of the river Scheldt, or "Linkeroever" (Left Bank). If you like history, check out the picture frames, with photo's of the construction of this tunnel.
