It is a solid town,
a few places to go.
Sometimes you‘re on your own,
or with people, you know.
Nobody‘s counting the years,
of holding back your tears.

Isolated reverie.
Wake up in a job routine.
Losing love and energy.
Am I stuck within a dream?

All in all, it was a good time
and I know it wasn’t ‘t the best.
Safety feels so fine.
Life is just one big quest.

Wear the bridal crown.
Ready from top to toe.
Sometimes you’re on your own,
or with people, you know.
Nobody‘s counting the years,
of holding back your tears.

Try to leave the comfort zone.
You haven't the courage to dare.
Even though the joy is gone,
you say he always took care.
