A simple twist on the classic Mongoose Sumo. Joining custom Sumo matches with a lot of people in them usually turned into everyone just piling on the middle of the map and spamming shots and melees at each other. This map inverts the changing landscape of the map. Instead, the middle square disappears first, and progresses towards the outermost purple ring. Instead of mosh pits of melees and Mongooses at mid, now there's a circle pit of high speed collisions and daring maneuvers.

Sumo had already been established as a gametype played on flat surfaces or in bowls, but I wondered what would happen if you were literally playing king of the hill in Sumo. Struggle to push enemy Mongooses off of the top of hill and out of the map, but make sure you pull away in time or else you too will roll down the hill into certain death.

This map began life as an attempt to have sumo without out-of-bounds kills where only your driving ability and wit could help you. This, in practice, was unfun, but add in ever-closing bounce walls and a collection of mancannons in the middle of the map, and you have high-flying madness of Sumo Cage.
