Episode 25 — With Dallas Startup Week coming to a close, Chris and Jordan prepare to help keynote the city’s annual State of Entrepreneurship event while Dave takes a break from vacation to learn about New Zealand’s startup ecosystem.

Dave visits with Jack McQuire at the Icehouse, a New Zealand based start-up incubator, fund, and co-working facility that is remarkably similar to its US equivalents. Meanwhile, after meeting with Glass-Media co-founder Daniel Black, Chris and Jordan head to a Fossil retail store at nearby NorthPark mall to get a first-hand look at the company’s dynamic digital media projection technology in action.

Confident but a bit nervous, Chris delivers a successful speech introducing Dumb Money to 700 attendees at the State of Entrepreneurship event hosted at the historic Majestic Theatre. While Dave gets back to vacationing, Chris and Jordan end the day in typical Dumb Money fashion over a drink at the speakeasy bar Akai.
