Juvederm Volbella is a brand new lip filler. Like other fillers in the Juvederm family it is a hyaluronic acid filler, which makes it very well accepted by human tissues and also very safe. However, the hyaluronic acid in Volbella is specifically formulated for use in and around the lips.

Juvederm Volbella has many advantages over other lip fillers. First, it has a somewhat lower concentration of hyaluronic acid, making it lighter and softer than other lip fillers. MARY LEE AMERIAN M.D.

Dr. Mary Lee Amerian graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude as an undergraduate from UCLA and is an honors graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine. She interned in Internal Medicine at UCLA Hospital and Medical Center in 1984 and completed her residency in Dermatology in 1987. She currently teaches at UCLA where she holds the title of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine.

She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Amerian has been named in L.A. Magazine’s list of top doctors in Los Angeles every year since 2008. She has also been voted by her peers as one of the “Best Doctors in America” annually since 1996.

Dr. Amerian has been featured on the cover of the Health section of the Los Angeles Times for her work on the VelaSmooth device for the treatment of cellulite.

GEORGE ANTERASIAN M.D.

Dr. George Anterasian graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude as an undergraduate from UCLA and is an Alpha Omega Alpha honors graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of California in San Diego, and he is board certified in the medical, surgical, and cosmetic treatment of conditions involving the face, head, and neck. He has over thirty years of experience in treating these conditions.

Dr. Anterasian is especially interested in non-surgical facial and body rejuvenation and laser and light-based skin treatments. He has performed thousands of non-surgical facial and body rejuvenation procedures with consistently excellent results.
