"Start your Business! Creation of start-ups, development of technical skills and socio-economic promotion
of young and vulnerable women in Palestine Project"

Overall Objective of the Project is to contribute to durable, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full
employment and decent work for all in Palestine, with a particular focus on the socio-economic
development of disadvantaged youth and vulnerable women.

The intervention targets in particular (but not
exclusively) the population of the Governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem and Jerusalem, Palestine.

The intervention is aimed at:
1- Promoting the development of new start-ups / commercial and social enterprises and increase the spread
of social business, through the offer of specific training, incubation, and acceleration services.
2- Increasing the employability of poorly qualified Palestinian youth and women through the enhancement
of technical and vocational training and the offer of qualifying training courses in leading sectors of the
local market.
3- Strengthening the decision-making processes, the production and the dissemination of knowledge among
institutional stakeholders and civil society with regard to the topics of entrepreneurship, social business
and the employability of vulnerable women and young people.

The Project is implemented by a consortium led by VIS, in partnership with CISP and ActionAid, together
with Bethlehem University, Salesian Technical School of Bethlehem, IECD, Municipality of Milan, and
Florence University, The project is funded by the Italian Agency For Development Cooperation AICS.
