Tashs Movement Recordings continues its 2025 campaign by welcoming back Maze 28 with a powerful two-track showcase, Deceptions and Lotus Skyline, each accompanied by high-profile remixes from EMPHI and Kyotto. Hailing from Albania, Mario Zefi aka Maze 28 has emerged as one of his countrys brightest progressive house artists. With a growing discography on respected imprints such as Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Clubsonica Records, and Movement Recordings, Maze 28 has earned support from tastemakers like Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now making his return to Movement, he unveils Deceptions, a deep, groove-driven production built on evolving textures and layered melodies, while Lotus Skyline takes a more atmospheric approach with airy sonics and hypnotic rhythms. The first interpretation comes from EMPHI, one of Swedens most exciting progressive talents. With a catalog that includes releases on Balance Music, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, and Vapour Recordings, EMPHI has become known for his refined melodic touch and high-impact grooves. His rework of Deceptions enhances the originals emotional core with crisp percussion, sweeping synths, and a wide-screen break that pushes tension to soaring heights. Also providing a remix is Kyotto, the Sri Lankan artist celebrated for his work on Movement Recordings, Timeless Moment, Mango Alley, and WARPP. A rising figure in the progressive underground, Kyotto has built a reputation for fusing deep grooves with futuristic atmospheres. His version of Lotus Skyline is a colourful journey of pulsating basslines and astral motifs, full of hypnotic flow and late-night drama. With Maze 28s two evocative originals and standout reworks from EMPHI and Kyotto, Deceptions delivers a complete package of forward-thinking progressive house, firmly aligned with Movements vision for 2025.
