Recently archaeologists have made an important discovery in Mudimanikyam village of Nalgonda district of Telangana. Two Badami Chalukya temples of 1,300-1,500 years old and 1,200 years old inscriptions were found here. This temple is situated on the banks of river Krishna and the time of its construction is believed to be between 543 AD and 750 AD. The style of temple construction is said to be Kadamba Nagar style. If we talk about the inscription, it is written as Gandaloranru, the meaning of which is not clear.
