Eighteen year-old Bella Weems is changing the face of entrepreneurship with Origami Owl, a customizable jewelry company she started at the age of 14 with a capital investment of $350 earned from babysitting.

The oldest of five children, Bella enjoys close relationships with her siblings despite a schedule that involves attending college in the fall and a current internal internship at Origami Owl which consists of spending a few weeks in each department to learn as much as possible about day-to-day operations. In addition Bella is passionate about leading the Origami Owl Hoot Academy, a youth program for 12 to 17 year olds who can work alongside their Origami Owl Designer parent or guardian. This program assists with providing leadership and business skills that are invaluable for these kids as they think about their future aspirations.

Bella also is passionate about writing music, singing and encouraging others through her motivational speaking engagements. Just releasing her first single through iTunes with profits benefitting Childhelp, an organization supported by Origami Owl. All indications point to someone who is already planning for a second act as an actress or singer, maybe both, and with Bella, there is a strong chance of that happening even before finishing college.
