Northwest Comp hitter Ryan Warter scored his first national event win east of the Mississippi when he drove the family’s Join venture Sunfire to a (-.53) 8.47 to defeat two-time U.S. Nationals champ Todd Frantz’s (.46) 8.60 effort.

Former Stock world champ Jimmy Hidalgo Jr. put himself in a prim position for the Super Stock title following his fourth win of the season. Hidalgo topped Ryan Montford in the final round on the strength of a 9.814 against his 9.81 dial.

Ross Ponville, a U.S. Nationals finalist in 2023, claimed his first national event title when he drove past Joe Belanger in the Stock final. Ponville finished the job with a 10.444 against his 10.44 dial.

Former Jr. Drag Racer Alison Prose joined her father, two-time tour winner Bob Prose, as a national event champion when she defeated Chris Vang in a tight Super Comp final. After a near-even launch, Prose’s 8.901 forced Vang under with an 8.892 breakout loss.

Kris Whitfield scored his fourth career win and his first away from his Bandimere Speedway hometrack, beating past Super Gas world champ and local favorite Luke Bogacki on a 9.912 to 9.926 count after a clutch .005 reaction time. Whitfield also was the runner-up in Brainerd in August.

James Glenn, the 2022 Super Comp world champ, bagged his second national event title of the season in Right Trailers Top Dragster. After identical lights, Glenn turned on the win light after Matt Woodard broke out by .004-second.
