Saddleback Mountain - America to Hudson Highway

Описание к видео Saddleback Mountain - America to Hudson Highway

America to Hudson Highway is a ski run of varying difficulties located at Saddleback Mountain. The trails run from the summit of the ski area, down to the main base area. The run begins on America, an intermediate run, off to the far skier's left of the top of the Kennebago Quad at the summit. The trail is nice and narrow, starting off very mellow and scenic. Eventually, the trail enters into one fair-sized drop before merging onto Hudson Highway, a beginner trail. After merging onto Hudson Highway, the run continues straight for a bit before turning to the left into a little pitch. After that, the trail narrows and becomes very mellow. The trail wraps around the middle section of the mountain before traversing back to the base area and the bottom of the Rangeley Express Quad.

Saddleback Maine is a ski area located in Sandy River, Maine. The ski area is located just outside the town of Rangeley in Northwestern Maine in Franklin County. The ski area is located about 2 hours north of Lewiston and 2.5 hours north of Portland. The ski area is the third-largest in the state in terms of both vertical and skiable area. The ski area is broken up into three main sections, each served by a chairlift. The section below the lodge, serviced by the South Branch Quad, is home to a variety of groomed beginner trails and is Saddleback's main learn-to-ski area. The middle section of the ski area, located right above the lodge and is served by the Rangeley Express Quad as well as the Cupsuptic T-Bar, is home to a variety of mostly intermediate and advanced trails which range from wide-open groomers to glades. The upper section of the mountain, located just east of the rest of the resort and served by the Kennebago Quad, is home to the resort's, and some of New England's, steepest and most extreme terrain, the Kennebago Steeps, as well as a couple of intermediate trails. The ski area recently reopened in 2020 after closing in 2015 after financial difficulties. The new owners have been ambitious with their reopening plans, installing a new high-speed chairlift, and planning on multiple new condo developments to be built in the next couple of years. The ski area is a member of the Indy Pass, granting pass holders 2 days at the resort.
