Flood and Drain (Ebb and Flow)

Basic operation involves the flooding part of the root zone allowing the water to wick up the media before it drains away.

The flood only takes a short period of time to saturate the media before it drains away.

As water drains from media fresh air is pulled in, increasing the potential for oxygen concentration to help the roots breath.
