Manuel Ruiz Quilez managed to complete the Great Himalaya Trail on August 3, 2019 and become the first Spanish to perform the 2,175 km alone, without assistance, of the route in 64 days.

It is one of the longest and highest trails in the world. In addition to passing by the highest peaks on the planet and visiting some of the most remote communities on Earth, it also crosses leafy valleys, deserted high mountain plains and other incredible landscapes.
