Henson Production Studios Tour- Charlie Chapin Studios

Henson Production Studios Tour- Charlie Chapin Studios is a piece of old Hollywood. We got a chance to go beyond the gate of The Jim Henson Production Studios.
First we walk around the outside of the studio for a look at what everyone is able to see on a normal basis. Then we go inside for a tour of the facility along with a trip into the famous offices. We get a chance to see all the awards that have been won over the years as well as many of the pieces of movie memorabilia.
Then w went into the Charlie Chaplin sound stage for a show called Puppet Up. The show included a warm up by Brian Henson.

Unfortunately the inside portion was filmed on our cell phones and we are not too good at using them for this purpose.
The Charlie Chaplin studio was built in 1917 and used by Charlie Chaplin until 1952. The studio was owned by several different people over the years including CBS and Red Skelton. When the studio was owned by A & N Records it was turned into a recording studio. Most of the most famous groups and people recorded at this studio. In the recording studio the song "We are the World" was recorded and filmed. That songs sold over 20 million copies.
The studio is located at
1416 N. La Brea Ave. right in the heart of Hollywood California. It is a few doors down from the famous Sunset Strip.
