Our Tarras Valley Textile celebrates the rich diversity of natural life and the close community found in the Tarras Valley. Working with artists Ann Smith and Helen Walshthe local community has come together to create a beatiful visual representationof the area highlighting some of our key species and special locations. Made using textiles woven in LAngholm (many of which would otherwise have ended up as waste) we have sewn, needle felted and embroidered together, each pass of each needle contributing to our intricate textile landscapefull of colour, texture and connection.
