WHO IS THE TYKO FAM?
We're a California family, now living in the Philippines, sharing life & adventures local and abroad!

Daddy was born in Iloilo, Philippines, and moved to the US at the age of 11. Mommy, Ty, and Kona were all born and raised in the US until one day, Daddy introduced us to his homeland. After several visits, we quit the rat race, we sold our house in California and made the big move to the Philippines in 2016! Sarge joined our family in 2021.

Our name "The Tyko Fam" was inspired by our kids' names, Ty & Kona. We enjoy spending FAMily, quality time and doing adventures together.

Moving to the Philippines has uplifted our lives, boosting our standard of living. We now enjoy affordable expenses, giving us the freedom to travel, launch a business, and live on our own terms. Most importantly, this move has deepened our connection with our Philippine roots and culture.

We're sharing our experiences & lifestyle to hopefully inspire you and show you what life can be like on the other side of the world!
