Meet the Aston Martin DB12, the first ever Super Tourer! While you may think it’s a HEAVILY revised DB11, the DB12 is 80% new. Outside you’ll notice the all new front end with a redesigned grill, all new headlights, a new hood, new fenders, mirrors, wheels, and more.

Under the hood you won’t find a V12 anymore. Instead, a 4.0L Twin Turbo V8 lies there making a whopping 671HP and 590 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. This is actually MORE HP than the V12 too. 0-60 happens under 3.5sec with a massive 202MPH TopSpeed. The engine may be sourced from AMG but Aston themselves have made in house changes like modified cam profiles, optimized compression ratios, larger diameter turbochargers, and improved cooling. Through an 8-Speed gearbox, power goes to a new e-diff.

Under the skin are all new adaptive dampers and stiffer anti-roll bars. There are three driving modes – GT, Sport, and Sport+, with escalating responsiveness and stiffness. Then comes the ALL new interior.. thank God. Here we find a massive floating center console crafted in alcantara, metals, leather, and an all new Aston developed touchscreen infotainment with Wireless Apple Carplay, Android Auto, new navigation system with online connectivity and 3D mapping, a mobile device application, and over-the-air updates. There also is a new 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system. The Aston Martin DB12 will be launched in the third quarter.
