Miles Davis is the most important Jazz artist of all time and arguably the most important musician of the Twentieth century. He was able to completely change the trends of Jazz multiple times. With his breakthrough record "Kind of Blue" released in 1959, Miles single handedly made Be-Bop accessible to the average person. With the song So What, Miles got rid of the the standard ii-V-I progression and replaced it with one big sad minor chord. This type of Jazz is now commonly known as Modal Jazz. This album would also go on to become the biggest selling jazz album of all time.

I'd like to thank all my subscribers in general for watching my videos, and also to be patient while I occasionally indulge myself in my love of Jazz.
