MG has introduced its rejuvenated HS SUV line-up at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, marking a significant milestone as the company celebrates its 100th anniversary. The new petrol and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models are designed to impress, boasting an array of new features, increased cabin space, and enhanced styling, ensuring the HS remains a compelling choice in the competitive SUV market.

The new MG HS models continue to uphold the brand's reputation for exceptional value. The petrol HS SE 1.5T is attractively priced at just £24,995, while the range-topping HS Trophy PHEV starts at £33,995. These price points make the HS one of the most affordable and appealing options in its class.

Buyers have the choice between advanced petrol and PHEV powertrains. The PHEV variant combines a 142 horsepower 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 154 kilowatt electric motor, delivering a robust performance with 0-62 miles per hour acceleration in just 6.8 seconds. The electric motor is powered by a substantial 24.7 kilowatt-hour battery and a high-efficiency 67 kilowatt generator, allowing for an impressive electric-only driving range of up to 75 miles.
