“Ugly Truths” - Les Blackwell | MI Folk Sessions

While travelling through Michigan on a tour with the amazing Pine & Fire, (who are having their own video next week so be ready!) we got to work with the wonderful Les Blackwell. Les sat down and gave us two songs, "Ugly Truths", an original that really hits hard and tugs at the heartstrings, and a classic "Trouble On My Mind", which will be coming down the line sometime.

Les was all laughs and personality the whole time we got to spend with him, and then out of nowhere just cranked out a deeply personal and emotional piece like this. I think this video really showcases his incredible talent and fantastic disposition that just draws you to want to hear more and spend more time with him. It was an absolute pleasure getting to work with him and hopefully we will have some more for you soon.
