High Performance Wireless Networks

Описание к видео High Performance Wireless Networks

USE HORN ANTENNAS FOR FIBER-LIKE STABILITY AND RELIABILITY OF UNLICENSED 5 GHz NETWORKS.

WIRELESS networks as stable and reliable as FIBER? Is that even possible?
INDEED it IS, even in the unlicensed frequency bands like 5 GHz. You need to use the right equipment and understand the components of wireless network stability and reliability.

In this webinar you will learn about three main components of wireless network stability:
1. Beam efficiency of an antenna (   • Inside Wireless: Beam Efficiency Defi...  )
2. Frequency stability of radiation pattern and boresight gain
3. Identical performance of both antenna polarizations

We compare the main types of antennas used in WISP industry in terms of these properties, namely HORN SECTOR ANTENNAS and PATCH ARRAYS.

HORN SECTORS have high Beam Efficiency, extremely stable radiation pattern with changing frequency, and identical performance at both H and V polarizations.

PATCH ARRAYS are completely UNSUITABLE for unlicensed WISP networks because their Beam Efficiency is very low, their radiation pattern changes IMMENSELY with frequency, and the H and V polarizations have different radiation pattern.
