I had a real good night (2/18/4) at Spike's Open Mic at the Madrone Art Bar. It started at 5pm and I got there before the big storm arrived. In fact it was actually sunny for a while, but, was changing over soon. There was a full list of artists signed up to play and I was slotted 1st after the hostess, Carla Tutu, opened things up. Started off with 'Rock&Blues...The Rules' from my 2nd CD and from the crowd reaction I knew it was going to be a fun night. My 2nd song was from my 3rd CD, 'The Man I Want To Be' and, again, much support from the audience. It's always fun to perform at the Madrone and Noah always gives us great sound that makes it so easy to sing and play. Now going back home to Pacifica was a whole different story weather wise. Heavy rain and even fog around Daly City had my speed down to 35 mph even on the highway, but, it was still a cool night and I will be back.
