Today, we welcome Avinash Singh as our special guest.

He describes his background and cricket journey. He started playing tennis ball cricket at a field near maternal aunt’s house with his cousins.

Later, he joined a local academy to improve his bowling. Then, he went to a camp in Mumbai to bowl for some of the experienced players. He played tennis ball matches in various local grounds in the entire Jammu district.

Avinash Singh was born and brought up in Jammu and Kashmir. He started playing tennis ball matches during his childhood. His father wanted him to join the army but he was declared medically unfit for the same. He was not able to do well academically and was only passionate about cricket. Later, he went for IPL trials for DC, RCB and KKR.

During the IPL auction, his bid went up to 60 lakhs. He was ultimately selected by RCB. He also shared his experience interacting with Virat Kohli and several other senior players.

Who is Manjot Kalra?

Manjot Kalra is a left-handed opening batsman from Delhi who played for India U19 in 2018. He was a major contributor in India winning the U19 World Cup against Australia because he scored an unbeaten 101* in the final. He has been a part of IPL as well since he was picked by Delhi Daredevils in 2018 and later retained by them in 2019.

His cricket career has been marked by significant achievements, including his match-winning performances in crucial games and his contributions to various teams at both the domestic and international levels.
