Microphones used in this session: Mini K47x, Mini K87, Delphos II, Colares. The two Mini K models were used on voice. The Delphos II was used on acoustic. The Colares was sort of used for both at once.

Danny Cooksey made his first album at 5, and toured with Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton. When one of his tours passed through LA, an unexpected audition opportunity launched a TV and film career that included roles on the Dukes of Hazzard, MacGyver, Diff'rent Strokes, and Terminator 2. Fans of hard rock will no doubt recall his band Bad4Good, which toured extensively (opening for Joe Satriani) in support of their debut record, "Refugee."

His current project, The Shelter Dogs, is a collaboration with former Steve Vai band guitarist Mark Cimino. The first album features Brooks Wackerman (Bad4Good, Avenged Sevenfold), John Spiker (Tenacious D), and Devin Townsend. See two Shelter Dogs music videos here: ‪@mawkcimino‬
