Scotland's Beautiful Heather - Ben Lawers Dam to Bridge of Balgie

I have this favourite ride from Loch Tay, up past Ben Lawers Dam to a wee place called Bridge of Balgie. As it's not gritted I've never tried in in winter, but I've ridden this route in all other seasons. This year I've discovered the best time to ride here is early September, when the heather comes into full bloom. I rode on 5th September 2024.

I have approached this video clip differently - instead of spending arduous hours in Davinci Resolve, I simply pushed the origin Action 4 footage through Shutter Encoder to compress it, then merged the clips. Admittedly I lost all the audio filtering I got in Davinci but in return I've got this near perfect 4K clarity.
