Here are the 4 varieties of pickle we tried:
Green Chili Pickle:
green chili 53%, Salt, cottonseed oil, water, spices(mustard, fenugreek, turmeric) Lime pulp and Acetic Acid
Punjabi Mango Pickle:
Mango Pieces 66%, Salt, Mustard oil, cottonseed oil, spices (fenugreek, fennel, black pepper, kalonji, Turmeric, chili) and Acetic Acid
Lime Pickle (Hot):
Lime Pieces 60%, Salt, cottonseed oil, water, spices ( chili, mustard, fenugreek, Turmeric, Cumin, Coriander, Asafoetida) and Acetic Acid.
Mixed Pickle (South Indian Style):
Mixed Fruits & Vegetables Pieces 60%, (Mango, carrots, Lime, green chili, Mangoginger, Indian wild Berries (Carissa Carnadas), Salt, water, sesame oil, cottonseed oil, spices ( chili, mustard, fenugreek, turmeric, asafoetida) and Acetic acid
We enjoyed all the different varieties some more then others. Lucas had a hard time with a few like the green chili one but he liked the mango one. And Mom liked the Lime pickle the best.
You have to really use these sparingly because they are very salty and sour and need to be mixed with the naan and dal for sure a very interesting taste.
