The ₹75000 Crore Great Nicobar Project aims to transform the southernmost island of Andaman & Nicobar into a financial hub like Hong Kong, featuring a Transshipment Port, International Airport, Power Plant, and townships.

The project is expected to generate 4000 jobs, accommodate 6.5 lakh residents by 2028, and boost tourism with leisure ecosystems, forest resorts, and international connectivity.

Accessibility issues, ecological risks, and the project's 30-year timeline (completion by 2058) present challenges. Balancing development with environmental conservation remains critical.
