"Kuru Yadu Nandana" beautifully captures Radha's deep love and devotion for Krishna. It highlights the spiritual and emotional bond between the divine lovers, symbolising the soul's yearning for union with the divine. The verses are filled with rich imagery and emotions, reflecting the essence of Bhakti (devotional) poetry.

Summary of the Dance:
Radha said to Krishna, "Please, decorate me with your hands. Make me completely yours. Use your cool hands more refreshing than sandal paste, to draw beautiful leafy vine designs in musk on my breasts. Like how Kamadeva, the god of love, decorates his sacred jugs with dark mango leaves. Please do this for me, my dear."

Then she continued, "Anoint my eyes with this fresh eyeliner which excels the splendour of a swarm of bumblebees. Kamadeva’s arrows fly from my sidelong glance. Your kisses have already smudged off the collyrium. You are the black ointment in my eyes, my love."

Radha went on, "Your radiance shines brighter than a peacock's feathers. My black hair, charming and attractive as the whisk of Kamadeva’s flag, came undone in the flurry of love. Please adorn my hair with flowers. Let yourself be the fragrance in my hair."

She further said, "My hips are as alluring as the dark cave of the madly impassioned elephant Kamadeva who once defeated the demon Sambara. Dress them with beautiful clothes and ornaments. You are the true adornment of my hips, my love."
