Sadly, we lost Carl on 8-9-24 at the age of 71. Carl was nominated for the W.C. Handy Award for Best New Blues Artist in 1997. He played with Albert King & Billy Branch and mentored & inspired countless Chicago Blues musicians over his career. His loss is a stunning blow to the Blues & he will be deeply missed. Carlton Weathersby 2/24/53-8/9/24 RIP
