The subject of today’s video is not a disease caused by some malevolent pathogen or spread by mosquitoes. It is a disease that is not contagious but caused simply by poverty and poor diet. Pellagra is a disease caused by a lack of vitamin b3 and its symptoms are known by the four Ds; Diarrhoea, Dermatitis, Dementia and Death.
