Small bag, but great for nano aquariums!
Great product in itself. The bag is small for $13, but I personally think it's worth it if you have a small tank like me. The tank pictured is technically 5 gallons, but the built-in filtration causes the space for gravel to be about 4.5 gallons. Therefore, this bag gave me about 1.5-2 in of gravel in a 4.5 gal aquarium. I would like to have more but since I currently don't have any planted plants I'm okay with it.
Shipping was great, bag came intact and pretty full. I didn't even give it that good of a rinse but the water didn't cloud up at all! Very happy about that as most gravels will totally cloud up the water. The aquarium is still cycling so I can't really say that the fish have anything to say lol. The color looks almost black in the bag but once it's rinsed and under the water it's just a dark brown. I have to say it sort of looks like deer poo but I still like it! If I decide to get some root plants I'll definitely buy another bag, but for right now I'm really happy with it!
