'Blame should not be put on us…': Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar on revolt in Shiromani Akali Dal

On Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), BJP Punjab chief Sunil Jakhar said the BJP shouldn’t be blamed. Sunil Jakhar said, "SAD contested on all 13 seats in Punjab, but secured only one. Those who are talking about leadership change in SAD can see no political future for SAD. Because SAD could not win in the Lok Sabha polls, its blame should not be put on the BJP. Sukhbir Badal and his leaders have got a chance today to show their leadership and take everyone along...After breaking away from the BJP, SAD's dominance has been decreasing. It means there is some weakness in their party leadership.”
