Описание к видео No Excuses: How One Athlete Jumped from 75 mph to 90 mph in a Year

One of the most common things I’ve seen after working in the remote training industry for over six years… is all the reasons why an athlete can’t commit to their own programming.

There’s a million reasons why we shouldn’t do things — but at the end of the day, those are just excuses to avoid putting in the work it takes to be great.

Athletes always talk about wanting to train in-house for the sake of convenience. But after seeing both sides — in-house and remote — the ones who really succeed are the ones who show up hungry. The ones with fire in their stomach, who want to get better instead of being spoon-fed progress.

Take Ben Fawcett, for example. He came in during his junior year of high school, throwing 73–75 mph, knowing he needed to make a serious jump if he wanted to compete at a high level.

He asked the right questions. He showed up angry. He obsessed. He carried a chip on his shoulder — and he refused to be dismissed by his competitors or by anyone who could decide his future.

Less than a year later, he hit his first 90 mph pitch in games — and doors started opening for him.

That’s just one of many examples of guys who completely changed their futures — not because they had the most convenient setup, but because they wanted it badly enough to put in the work.
