As a rule, folks, stucco takes on average 28 days to cure before painting, this video explains how to apply a new stucco, then turn around and paint it as soon as possible.

FYI, You should always prime your bare stucco before applying a finished coat of paint.
What happens if you paint new stucco too soon? The new paint can blister or not adhere very well.
The pH level has to drop from 14-pH to under 9-pH. Technical boring stuff but good info.

If stucco is to be painted, the stucco must be allowed to reach a pH of 9.5 or less, the primer or paint must be alkali-resistant, and painting is delayed until the stucco is fully cured; this normally occurs 28 days after application.
I read the above sentence online; LOL, it’s not that critical, guys, I have done stucco jobs where the owners painted the next day, and nothing happened, but as a licensed person, it’s my job to inform accurately. Cheers.

As the title suggests, you can apply the “Rapid Set Stucco patch” and paint within two hours. This is a huge advantage to some folks.

This is a user-friendly product.
What does that mean? Since the sand and the accelerator are already in the bags, add water, mix, and apply. How easy is that?
