Söndörgő opens the 2014 Lotus World Music & Arts Festival http://lotusfest.org/ with some lively tamburitza, a unique and energetic style of Balkan music built around the mandolin-like tambura. Their music comes from southern Slavic traditions of Serbs and Croats, and the group researches, arranges, and performs in this little-known Balkan tradition.

Söndörgő comes from Szentendre Hungary, the band is made up of three brothers, Áron, Benjamin and Salamon Eredics, plus cousin Dávid Eredics and Ábel Dénes, the only non-family member, on bass.
