When moving to a new state you may not need to replace your supplement plan.

1. When moving to a new state be sure to check that your plan is offered in that state.
2. Even though your supplement plan may be offered in your new state, it doesn’t mean it will be the same price. So be sure to call your insurance carrier to see what your new monthly premium will be.
3. Notify Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 the month prior to your move date. They’ll need to update their records before you move to a new state.
4. Contact your personal broker at Medicareinc.com as soon as you know you are moving to make sure you are getting the best plan at the best price in your new area.
