In ranked, usually couples will support each other already, as they have more information about the couple than you (knows each other's roles, coupled wolf knows other wws etc.), so you can just let your couple carry you lmao. As the Cupid, you just need to have a solid claim to survive so you can vote with your couple in the endgame phase to win, and you can occasionally try to divert attention away from your couple if necessary.
Also vill x vill couple is more winnable as couple if cupid is alive, as they can tie votes with last evil and force the last evil to kill all non-coupled players, and if last evil kills couple, cupid can just vote the evil out with village.
