This woman is another in a long line of victims of the Opiate Epidemic in Worcester. I originally produced these videos in an effort to prevent other people from going down the path like this woman did, ultimately ending in her death. I spoke to her after this went public because she objected to my having posted it. I told her as soon as she entered a rehab, I would take it down, sadly she chose to stay out there and it eventually cost her her life. I had been hoping to motivate her to change and improve herself. In this video you can see Margarite showing signs of being strung out on crack, and/or heroin. It was taken at 6:55 a.m. on the first day of June, 2014. She had been out there disturbing the peace, yelling for someone to "Give me my money" since 4:30 a.m. She is doing the Crack Cocaine Two Step. I deal with this on a daily basis here in the 700 Block of Main St., or what I refer to as: Ground Zero. It has been this way the entire time that I have lived here since 03 July 1996, I started being responsible for the building and grounds on 16 June 2003, and have been fighting crime trying to restore my neighborhood to some semblance of normality. It got this way because the homeless shelter was right next door for many, many years. My neighborhood became known as THE spot to score your drug of choice, and the dealers are very reluctant to give it up, but this former Staff Sergeant of the USAFR is not giving up either. D-Day is fast approaching and I will launch another D-Day offensive to force the Worcester Police to assist me in cleaning out the crack heads, junkies, whores, thieves and drug dealer's. We need, as a society to reach out to these people and show them how to deal with life on life's terms. They are all worthy of redemption and one person at a time, change can happen, One person helping another and so on and so forth,. Life is too precious and temporary to spend it high on illegal drugs.

If you, or a loved one suffers from drug addiction, please make every effort to get help to get off the drugs before you or they end up being another in a long line of victims. It does get better, one day at a time.

The neighborhood did indeed change due to my efforts and having brought attention to the problems through my video series, it is for the most part fairly normal for a City of Worcester neighborhood. (I also want to thank Chief Steven Sargent of the Worcester Police Department for listening to me at all those neighborhood meetings we each attended prior to his becoming Chief and able to then implement new tactics to control what was clearly unacceptable behavior in public especially after 10 p.m. through to 7 a.m. Thanks Chief)
