Guest Artist Kristina Shafranski Bio:
Kristina Shafranski is a Ukrainian-American soprano born and raised in Long Island, New York. Kristina received her Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. This season, Kristina debuted the title role of Puccini's Suor Angelica with Varna International Music Academy in Asiago, Italy and is thrilled to join MABC's Emerging Artists Fellowship Program as Iolanta in highlights of Tchaikovsky's Iolanta.

Previously, Kristina performed as Micaela in Bizet’s Carmen with the International Opera Summer Festival of Morelia in Morelia, Mexico and debuted the role of Alma the European premiere of Pieta by Jake Landau in Narni, Italy. For more information please visit www.kristinashafranski.com.
